Friends of yesterday Fiends today ?...Heroes of the Past..Zero of Present!

Invade, and occupy forcibly a sovereign country, after toppling its government and kill their innocent civilian, men, women and children , in night raids and drone attacks. Then expect no retaliation as a consequence, from the ousted regime members and  the victims heirs that they would not even say, OUCH !

Appears to be a very naive way of thinking.Have they no realization that they are into war with the Afghan freedom fighters and they would hit them whenever they get the opportunity…So,why blame Pakistan for that ?

It is indeed ironic, that whenever the Taliban’s strike them (US/NATO) where it hurts, they start pointing fingers at Pakistan…Someone must ask them,if ISI is responsible for attacks on them (Which is not true),then is it alright to accuse, CIA to be behind the uncountable terrorist attacks in Pakistan ?

If viewed pragmatically, the phobic focus on the Haqqani group doesn’t sound to be correct!…They have 150,000 of their ISAF troops, same amount of highly skilled Private Military Contractors and a equal number of Afghan army and security personnel’s stationed in Afghanistan…Then why cannot they themselves ensure that no cross border infiltration takes place ?

I see no reason for them to blame Pakistan and to push them for action against the Haqqanis, who have never threatened them! Unless sinisterly , they want Pakistanis resenting their army for going after their own people in the bargain within our own country…

The factual state of affairs is that Pakistan is neither at war with the US/ISAF nor the Afghan Taliban's.Pakistan's role in the war against terror is understood to be within it's own sovereign territorial remits.Which is based on intelligence sharing and logistic facilitation. The US should understand that the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan is of a huge stretch of length and it is not physically possible for Pakistan to secure it alone.I understand Pakistan has around 800 posts along the border whereas comparatively the US/ISAF have 200 ?The problem is nakedly visible. They must remove this disparity and ensure that from their end no infiltration is allowed.Blaming Pakistan or Haqqani group apparently seems to be a smoke screen to hide their own failures...Enough is enough, they should have some spine now to admit their own failures before their own people and the world…

It would be their biggest mistake after the NAM experience ,if in case they try to push Pakistan, against the wall…The Pakistan, of today is not dollar hungry one they have been dealing with.It is a new Pakistan where all the Pakistanis, unitedly voice,PAKISTAN FIRST!

The ground reality according to many analyst, apparently seems like a possibility of the US planning to use the so-called Haqqani Network Bogey, to launch an attack on Pakistani soil. The same way they used the so-called Al-Qaeda Network as a pretext to attack Afghanistan, a decade back ?. Could the clubbing of two sovereign country’s together as Af-Pak, possibly had a sinister, ulterior and nefarious design behind it ? Those who since a decade have failed to conquer a rag picking country such as Afghanistan are deluded to believe Pakistan would be a walk in the park.

Summarized:

a) Haqqani's are based and in control of Khost and Paktia in Afghanistan, not in Pakistan. Why does not the US forces take care of them there ?

b) US is in occupation of their country and at war with them. Thus it should be naturally expect as freedom fighters they would attack the invaders/occupiers.

c) Pakistan neither supports or shelters nor is at war with them.

d)They are no threat to Pakistan, then why should Pakistan be expected to attack them and create another enemy for it's self ?. Already it has it's hands full being the biggest victim of terrorism, fighting others wars !

Pakistan is not supporting nor sheltering, any group involved in militancy against anyone!...As a matter of fact the Pakistani forces patrolling the Pak-Afghan border are on regular basis being attacked by lethally armed militants, crossing over from Afghan side of the border into Pakistan !Why has the NATO been unable to stop their infiltration, is it possible that they shelter them for the same purpose ?

Rational thinking says Pakistan, should quit this so-called war on terror and concentrate upon the internal threats lurking around...Period

Who sends the dollars and who grabs the top jobs?

In a couple of day's the law makers using the pretext of the love and patriotism of the remittances sent by the overseas Pakistanis, may move a bill in the parliament to amend the constitutional restriction imposed on legislators holding dual nationality from being disqualified from the membership of the assembly. The write up below obtained from the source stated at the end provides a clear picture and exposes and busts the myth, the lawmakers, are bent on creating to fulfill and protect the interest of their favorite few at the cost of the nation.

"The Economic Survey of Pakistan has fully exposed the myth and the reality of the bloated right of dual nationals to become members of Pakistani parliament and grab top posts in the government and other key decision-making/money-making corporate bodies.

The official GOP document exposes the claim of dual nationals living in the western countries about sending remittances in bulk, an argument advanced to claim the right to contest elections.

The official figures of remittances in the Survey reveal that the lion’s share of dollars comes from the expatriates in the Middle East where no foreigner can acquire citizenship.A country-wise analysis indicates that the rich expatriates, dual nationals included, have a much smaller contribution to the Pakistan economy when compared to their poor counterparts in the Arab countries.

The latest figures put foreign remittances at 10.2 billion dollars from July 2011 to April 2012 against the previous figure of 9.6 billion dollars, an increase registered following the government’s policy of Pakistan Remittances Initiative (PRI) to encourage banking channels for the purpose.

According to the Survey (2011-12), Pakistani labour class working in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and in other Gulf States have 60 per cent share in the remittances. In contrast, the overseas Pakistanis living in the United States (USA) and United Kingdom (UK) contributed only 30 per cent. Expatriates living in the European Union (EU) have a pathetic share of just 2.8 per cent.

In a sharp contrast in terms of individual earnings, expatriates in the western countries earn far more than their counterparts in the Middle East. Another fact, which is often forgotten, is that a majority of expatriates living in the west are those who are not dual nationals, according to an economist.

But when it comes to grabbing important official positions, the ‘ideal’ candidates are ‘imported’ from the US, UK and EU. As soon as their terms expire and the ‘rainy’ season starts they pack up and fly back, their ‘passion to serve the motherland’ dissipating into thin air.

Pakistan has tried several imported leaders, honouring them with the slots like prime minister, cabinet members and other top positions yet not one of them stayed for a single day after they relinquished the privileged position.

In terms of remittances, expatriates in Saudi Arabia are the top contributor. The figures given in the Economic Survey are as follows: Remittances from US: $1922.4mln(17.7%); UK: $1263.7mln(11.6%); Saudi Arabia: $2987.9mln (27.5%); UAE: $2386.3mln(21.9%); Other Gulf countries: $1226.6mln (11.3%); EU: $304.6mln (2.8%); others $785.7 (7.2%)

Thus Pakistanis living in the UK have a much smaller contribution of 1263.7 million dollars (11.6%) when compared to those living either in Saudi Arabia or UAE or the collective contribution of the labour class working in Kuwait and Bahrain etc.

But most of our imported leaders come from UK and they include, among others, an adviser on interior and a senior member of Pakistan’s High Commissioner in UK. Recently, Supreme Court has suspended two MQM lawmakers for being UK citizens.

The overseas Pakistanis in the United States contributed 1922.4 million dollars (17.7%) in 2011-12 under the head of remittances. Hussain Haqqqani’s wife, Farah Naz Ispahani, a PPP MNA suspended for being US-Pak national, is the latest example. Earlier, Omer Ghumman was a minister in the Shaukat Aziz cabinet. After he was shown the door, Omer immediately returned to US. Former Shaukat Aziz has not returned to Pakistan since he left.

Moin Qureshi, a former caretaker PM, had acquired the Pakistani identity card after assuming the top office and never came back after completing his stint.

A PML-N MNA Jamil Awan had his membership suspended for being a Dutch national. Auditor General of Pakistan, Boland Akhtar Rana, is a declared Canadian-Pakistani.

As for Pakistanis in Middle East only four names come to mind who served at important positions and have businesses abroad. They are: former federal minister for population in Shaukat Aziz cabinet, Ch. Shahbaz Ahmad, former MNA Ch. Nazir Jutt, former chairman Ehtesab Bureau Saif-ur-Rehman and former MNA Ch. Ejaz.

But certainly they hold Pakistani passports only and cannot get the nationality of these Arab states."

Strangely! I dont feel like a Proud Pakistani, anymore (:

Re-opening of NATO supply route: 7 months of gain, prematurely all gone in vein…. A miscarriage, What a shame!

The  abrupt way the GOP, conceded to open the route without the parliaments main conditionality having been met, such as stoppage of illegal and unauthorized assassination Drone attacks ,unconditional apology on the deliberate and unprovoked (not mistaken) NATO/US, attack on a Pakistan Army's border post in which they martyred 26 soldiers on the 26/11 last year and certain other arrangements relating to  how to proceed further without violating Pakistan's sovereignty, integrity and interests etc. May, not  auger well for the government nor Pakistan.
No body can predict what the public reaction in the event of a backlash, could entail in the day's that follow this bad and hasty decision.

It fails ones comprehension, as to that what compels a so-called people elected democratic government to totally disregard the nation aspirations ?, who certainly were hoping beyond hope and eagerly looking forward to regain it’s lost dignity, respect and freedom from the clutches of the external forces, having gripped them firmly, for so long, literally holding them hostage to their whims and destroying their country's peace, stability and economy.Plunging it into the deep crevices of one crisis after another, bringing it in close proximity of becoming a failed state …We had the opportunity to make it happen, holding them, by the cuff ! But amazingly,we suddenly  let go... ?

Indeed it is a bad sign for all who had hoped that the only leverage we had, Poof ! just vanished into thin air. Somehow, courageously, we took 3 steps forward and then took 5 steps backwards. Do you believe,it was a step in the right direction to had reopened the supply route, without having been able to meet the conditions approved through the joint resolution passed by the so-called supreme parliament or the reason it was originally shut down in the first instance ?

More so, in the end  ultimately what did we gain a minced so-called stale and fake apology? which sounded more like a condolence message, from them denoting just a repeat of the findings of their biased probe committee on ‘joint mistakes’. This is a huge embarrassment for Pakistani nation and also for Pakistan Army.

Finally, the million$ question which arise at this point of time is, do we honestly feel that once their interest has been met, they wouldn't do the same thing all over again?. More so,why do we underestimate ourselves so much?...We are considerably far better off in defense then,N.Korea,Iran etc.!How long our we going to remain being treated as a floor mat or a punching bag for them  and be able to sustain the beating?

This country, unfortunately and sadly has no future while such inept, corrupt rule and a spineless nation, allow them to do so unhindered…

Snap out of it Pakistanis !

One could be the biggest fool on this God's earth to believe that there is still an end game to Afghanistan...

The 9/11 didn't just happen to take place, for going on a picnic to Afghanistan, nor occupying it for over a decade, spent over a trillion dollars and last but not least losing the lives of about 5000 troopers, just to get their own rabbit let lose for the fox hunt!

They have a long global agenda to follow through and complete !

They are not there to develop Afghanistan nor for the welfare of the Afghan's.They are there for their own,Geo-Political,strategic and economic interest under the globalist agenda. It would be naive to believe that, they are going to leave Afghanistan, as it serves as their base, for future adventures across the region...

They would have attacked Pakistan long time back, but were apprehensive, keeping in mind the huge population size of 180 million (difficult to control) spread over a large territory and being a nuclear state...

This, however, does not mean that they have shelved the plan to make an entry into Pakistan.Rather, what they probably intended to do is to destabilize Pakistan. Gradually bring it to a point where there is total anarchy enabled, to support and aid the anarchist to seek separation based on ethnicity in the process leading it to being balkanized. Thus, solving their huge population problem, by the splits and also isolating the areas where the nukes are for a easy grab...

Wake up !The game is up and exposed.Today, even the American people have woken up and  protested in thousands outside the so-called Afghanistan Summit, held recently at Chicago.

The only and best solution to ward of this threat and foil their historical imperialist policy of "Divide and Rule" is by virtue of adopting and adhering to another well known policy of "United We Stand ....".

Therefore forgo all difference amongst yourself and "BE ONLY PAKISTANI....Pakistan First !

May Allah bless and keep us and Pakistan in his Aman (protection), ALWAY'S! Ameen.
